Default Something funny today

I have had a small tick in the left had side of the motor the last few times I drove my Cobra and just thought it was a tappet type noise I would need to look at.
Yesterday driving on the way to Portalington for the muscle festival it dropped a cylinder.
I called in to a mates who is on the way and found that number 5 lead had come off the spark plug and number 6 was just hanging in there.
We fitted these back on and got through the day no worries.
Today I went to had a look at the lead and repair it properly and also found the spark plug was loose.
I went around and checked the rest. 3 I could wind out with my fingers and nearly all were lose.
Only 2 were still tight.
Fired it afterwards and found the tick had gone.
Now just to see if it has more power. lol

I'm glad it was something simple to correct. She ought to blast along like new.

normally the problem is the plugs are impossible to get out if someone else has touched them, its a bit bit like oil drain plugs and filters, normally people do them up so tight they just about strip the threads.
luck you got to the plugs early enough, as that could have buggered the threads in the heads.

Gee & I thought everyone new how to tighten all nuts, bolts & filters etc.
The procedure is as follows, tighten them all till they strip & back 'em off half a turn.
