I think it needs to be established how you measure the dia. I've always understood it to be from the centre of the rim to the centre of the rim but I know a lot of folk measure across the outer circumferance - this usually adds at least 25mm, that about an inch to you folk!

My 'bellissima' Nardi is 360mm (14") centre to centre.
