Pete, the guys on the ford Forum that I regularly visit all swear by Mainlube,
Mainlube 154 Synthetic Solid Boundary E P Gear Oil SAE 75w80 (gearbox)

It Ain't cheap ! However the results appear to speak for themselves.

I've used the recommend GM oil as well as RedLine MTL (manual transmission lubricant),both o-k to use in Tremecs, could not tell any difference in the two, bought whichever one was the easiest to find at the time I needed it........

Around here, Royal Purple, GM, and Pennzoil are readily available. I'v tried them all. The Pennzoil made for hard shifts and missed shifts. I drained that out after one race week end.

The other two seemed to be about the same, couldn't really tell the difference. I use GM, because it's a little bit cheaper.
