cheers dean
I'm with you Deano. Have two full knee replacements as a result of numerous motor cycle prangs. Yes mate, I'm running it through a 3.3 Jag rear end.

Baz, that is a convincing argument right there to run a 6L80E.

Deno, ratio wise Baz is on the money, you want to run something a little taller. So for our customers we recommend either 3.27 or 3.45 depending on tyre diameter with the auto's.

3:9's are pretty good too.
Unless I where planning a trip to Bonneville or trying to reset a fuel economy record I wouldn't go taller than a 3:45.

Ill take a guess and say that I might meet you sometime tomorrow ???

I'm using my hoist that I keep at Absolute Pace, doing a few tidy ups on my Cobra.

I'm amazed at the people I run into there !!

Cheers,

Agree.

DOD or AFM in a VE although great in theory, is prone to failure. Roller lifters turn in bores and then permanent misfire due to no inlet for the offending cylinder.
