Where's the fun in that?

It is possible to rework the loom yourself if your keen. I did it for mine which is very similar...not sure how much holden may have changed the loom around. I have a few files and instructions your welcome to if you want to have a crack.

Cheers

im a mechanic by trade but semi retired and too be honest I haven't had a lot too do with this series of engine but like I tell the mrs its still just nuts and bolts lol.
but when it comes to wiring forget it I absolutely hate dealing with it .auto sparkys are a special kind of clever in my books im amazed and some of the stuff ive sent them over the yrs and it comes back fixed . I think I will stick with the original plan and pay someone to do the loom and take the security out of the ecu and make it stand alone without body control modules ect ect if possible .
I will build you a 138 grey motor or even a rotary to a big block chev with no problems but the minute I have to twist 2 wires together all I get is smoke lol.it always works out better and usually cheaper to get that side of things done by a professional .

cheers dean

I am in the final stages of removing an L98 from a VE. I have all the wiring removed (and labelled, photos) so I would be keen to try to rework the loom myself.
Tenrocca, I would appreciate whatever you have to help me rework the loom.

Regards

Sam
