well it's here :-) arrived to the workshop of Tuesday morning man was that pallet big and loaded to the hilt including my auto trans on it's return trip.
once off the truck it was obvious that there was some damage as parts of the white plastic shrink wrap was shredded in some places and that stuff is bloody tough you cant tear it by hand .
it looks like a pallet only guessing has been sitting accross the nose cone the plastic was torn and there are scuff marks across the nose i believe those will buff out tho . however on the lhd side gaurd just behind the headlight something heavy has been resting there and has deformed the boddywork and but 3 or 4 small dents about 4 inches long you can see them to look at and when you rub your hands across it you can feel them . on the right rear just behind the door the plastic was ripped and a gouge about 30 to 40 mm long about 3 mm wide and about 2 to 3 mm deep . i just want to point out that pace have been fantastic when i phoned them and " I DO NOT BLAME THEM AT ALL" this is purely a transport damage problem i do not want this to turn into a pace bashing post if it does i will delete the thread ...

i have been assured the damage will be repaired and i have send pics and spoken to there body work foreman already ok the rest of the car is just stunning as this is the first time ive seen it i was just blown away and the guys in the workshops next to ours all took a extended lunch to help me unpack the pallet and get the car on its wheels .

it took 4 loads with a ford ranger loaded to the hilt to get all the boxes back to my place i have only just finished going thru whats there and there is more to come lol. there is more than enough to get started and keep me busy for some time .

i want to thank absolute pace on a quality product and to say thanks to the blokes on the workshop floor who all do there bit . i know ive been a pain in the arse over delivery time and been quite vocal but i think absolute pace have taken some of it onboard and ive learned to be more patient and my relationship with pace now is better now than its ever been .
win win all round i think to anyone looking at building a cobra and are undecided on a kit get your arse up to the factory and at least have a look if your interstate fly up take ya mrs and make a dirty weekend of it lol .. will post some pics when the camera recharges .

cheers dean
