Spoke to Gregg today and he can't make it after the dates changed. The good news is he wants me to drive his cobra up for the weekend!
Isn't that nice of him? Thanks Gregg!
:-)

Whoa there big boy
Yes I can't make it now - bugger. Will be on a family holiday (cruise ship) so unless I helicopter off I won't be coming.
So Ben that means you have to take on the mantle of the "World's fastest Round Tube CR" hehehe. So get that CR beast finished ok. No pressure. You can have the use of my "pit crew" aka Phil if you like too.
Cheers Gregg

Nah wouldn't be the same without my arch-arch-nemisis to chase after (and beat in the drags) :-)
Ben - can't cancel - its bought and paid for - and my resulting Divorce upon cancellation would cost more :-)

I am considering it....... It is $1100 in fuel just for me to drive there and back.........
Sadly the Cobra won't be making the trip, another blue car should be taking its place.

Fuel fuel fuel
Towmaster, (or should that be towie ) based on your present position....
We drive V8's, fuel des cost....... I understand its a bloody long way
Also, there is always a bed and repair shop @ my place if you come down earlier,
It's a 2.5 hour drive to Winton from my place.
There is always a spot on the grid for non Shelby cars.

What is happening on the Sunday? The same saleyards thing again? Is that private or public land? I am guessing public so I wouldn't be able to drive the Supercar around there?

Careful quoting costs as a reason why you may or may not attend an event.
I was told once if that was an issue (cost of attending) then maybe I shouldn't own a Cobra.

I'm also keen to come down for this event but haven't committed as yet.
I was told by a few of the Vic racer guys that you can't sleep/stay at the track in your trailer like some of the guys do at WP, QR and MP. I may have a new trailer then so can sleep/stay in it so was hoping it'd be ok to sleep at the track like many do at other events.
Can anyone shed any light on that one about Winton?
Thanks in advance
Spookypt.
