Default Where to get differing bend radius pipes for sidepipes?

To make my 4 into 1 for the sidepipes I need two different bend radius, 1.5 and 2.0 I suppose, so I can stack two pipes together for a neat curve, but I cant seem to find a place that does the larger radius, any suggestions on known tubing suppliers?

I get them from Difillipo or Aero Engineering. Darren will look after you. I think he does a kit now.

I use 2" pipes for the bends where they come out of the guard and get them in a 4" and a 6" radius (from memory).

They difference in radius needs to be the same or close to the diameter of the pipe to get them to nest in next to each other nicely. So 4" and 6" radius or 3" and 5" radius etc. It's hard to find pipes in radius that will nest properly. Most of the manufacturers only have one set of dies and one radius. It's even harder when you are dealing with suppliers of stainless bends.

Cheers

Defillipo are of stock and dont expect to have more before Christmas.

I rang uneek and they said they got sick of watching it go rusty on the shelf so they dont do it anymore.

I suppose I will just get some from SPD in the US because they have anything and everything you can imagine.

Ben,
i used SPD for my collectors, they used USPS at that time and cost for shipping with the V bands and clamps was $59. When i went to order the tube bends they told me the same 16 bends for US$236 ouch, too much, so had them done by Uneek in Dandenong

Uneek did them for you one off? I spoke to them the other day and he told me they dont do one offs anymore, to much time lost in re-tooling. ?

Well after speaking to at least 10 places in Australia, yet again the shipping companies win out.

I have ordered the bends from SPD and paid $200 in shipping.

I did find a couple of local bending places that would do them but they wanted at least $150 in tooling setup and $x per bend plus material - cheaper to give my money to Mr FedEx.

sad isn't it.
