The ADR requirements for sidepipes changed in 2007 for MA category vehicles. Mercedes AMG G-wagon advertises its live side pipes as a performance feature and they're for sale in QLD, so it's a bit hard to knock them back on an ICV.

And there will be a another road registered cobra @ Yandina Creek in 2015 too.
