Dave,
That's monumental, mate! I just looked on the map and it's around 8500km for the round trip.
That's one way (a good one) to establish a bond with a car.

Cheers,
Glen

Fuel at Balledonia was $1.70 not so bad, made it Caiguna so happy with today's progress. To much meat on the road to drive at night. 5am start tomorrow so early bed for me. Hopefully Ceduna tomorrow night.

The roo's were unbelievable around here earlier in the year.
I'm sure they sit around on the side of the road laughing at how we **** ourselves when we only see them at the last second sometimes.

Yep seen dead, Roo's ,Cows, Snakes, Lizards. My rule is get on the road after 6am and get off the road before 5pm. I've had enough by then. Not dropping down to Adelaide but on the way home who knows.

Ceduna is a lovely spot, got a room with water views.

We stayed at what is now the Foreshore Hotel.
We parked in the "compound" and they lock the gates at sunset.
Cracking dinner in the restaurant

...and a fantastic sunset. After dark it's like the set of the walking dead!

Wink

The Barossa Valley for a wineo tour

Broken Hill:-
*The living desert sanctuary, Sculptures
*Silverton ---mad max territory
*The Pro Hart galleries --well worth a look
*The mulga hill tavern (I think) where a steak is the size of the dinner plate and takes half the night to chew through
BH is famous for Silver, Lead and Zinc and (the ore was smeltered at Port Pirrie) hence a tourist mine --but you've prolly seen enough of mines

The Tarrawingee units in the Hill would be the go Dave.
There is loads of room for the trailer to park off street.
I stay there sometimes when I'm up there.
