HI Zacson, this idea and similar ones has been talked about for many years. Like anything, nothing is impossible but imo like the NSW Cobra Nats, it would need a separate organising committee to make it happen. Its always difficult and risky to commit the club to a large financial outlay for track hire etc etc and then find people don't sign up and commit to come. We often see this on track days where people say lets have a track day and then some of those wanting it don't come for whatever reason. That's just life I guess.

Of course apart from that, the club doesn't have its own insurances so if you did do anything publically as members, you participate and organise things at your own risk.

Perhaps, do some investigating as to what you think we could do, including costs, approvals and relevant insurance costs and put it to the committee to see what they say?

It'd be great to see any club evolve and grow and it's ideas like yours that get converted into reality that will make it do just that. I'm keen to hear what you find out....

Also, well done to Mark, NSW CCC Pres and the NSW Car Club for some more new and innovative ideas for this years Nats. My wife has been at me to move the pedal box in ole #6, so if she sees the new ladies category I'll be stuck up the shed for a few more days!!
