Makes me immediately think of that scene in the Griswald's - European Vacation where the son has absconded with a nice barmaid.
Oh and back on road manners, riding into Franga the other day, three lanes and Im not hugging the white line - deliberately - and I get a moronic Ke-wee tooting me because he can't squeeze past.
And that was exactly the idea, reduce any risk of being bumped as the driver attempts to squeeze past.
This was around 3pm in the arvo and he must have been delayed all of 20 seconds but he must have been late for his pub appointment!!
I tend to take quite a relaxed approach to merging ie not rushing in and trying to force an opening with plenty of indication time and I generally don't have issues being let in.
Still get morons that clearly don't want to be delayed by a car length but there are plenty of sensible drivers.

Maybe there is no connection to her car itself. Maybe it's nothing more than there are "assholes" everywhere and she's just run into a few of them.

My daily drive is an Audi, but I don't notice this Mike.
There's a small chance that I might be the a$$hole though....
And I'll have a sticker too

Actually, when driving the wife's 4x4 Pathfinder, I do know that people like to get in front - I presume because it blocks their vision or they assume it's slow? Although this also seems to be happening less these days - probably due to the huge increase in the number of 4x4 and large wagons there are these days!

I've been working on a theory that more and more people are being born with more than one anus. As their parents are too embarrassed to mention it at birth, and they find it embarrassing as they grow into adulthood, few mention their condition to friends or doctors. Its the only way I see to explain the apparent fact that there are more a-holes than people around now days.

A good percentage of Sydney drivers are hopeless. Five things that really jack me off are;- (1) Tailgating so close that you can't even see their grill. (2) Cutting in on multi laned roads when you are leaving a safe distance between you and the car in front. (3) Lunatics on the right at roundabouts barging through as they think they have the right of way. (4) Imbo's that drive right up behind you when they see that you are trying to reverse park into the kerb between other cars and (5) When driving the Cobra, being challenged by underpowered heaps of crap with noisy exhausts, usually driven by novice, small brained juveniles, who think that both them and their vehicles are invincible. Eliminate these and the roads would be a far better place.

I drive the Cobra, nothing but thumbs up even from cops.
I drive the F250 V10 Super Duty 4x4 and I get more sh*t at a gas station than anything else! Mainly people asking me how I can justify driving something like that!
Daily driver is a Lexus GS 430 and I have had my share of fun with you BMW guys!

It's the Westgate Bridge
Aussie,
I was working over the Bridge last year, everything changes once you
Enter the West. It seems once you're over the Bridge it's a speed way and
People leave their manners in Port Melbourne. I was driving a 1998 Ford wagon
And people didn't let me in, I updated to a RR, same applies.

Yesterday ...roadrage !!! Some yob in an astra wanted to race..took off from the lights raced downhill to a roundabout braking hard...I followed and slipped up inside and his lane ran out. He went ballistic..cut throat threats ..blasting the horn, flashing lights , head out the window screaming obsenities.. we actually stopped at a giveway sign and he continued to rant..I thought he might have got out. Off we went and he still carried on. I was waiting to be rammed or something. But as I turned off he threw his thong at me !

Rob walks into a bar wearing his one new thong. The barman spots him and casually remarks "What's up mate, did you lose a thong?" Rob replies "Nah mate, I found one!"
