I think the original Python chassis used MG front suspension components.
I like the Rover V8 and have fond memories of a friends Mazda 323 wagon back in New Zealand. It was an ex NZ Post office van complete with faded post office red paint. He stuffed a rover 3.5 into it but it looked stock on the outside. A real street sleeper until he uncorked the exhaust and stepped on the gas.

I too would like to see some photos Aaron.
Heres a few pics of the sort of car I would like to recreate - Think Ive only seen one of a similar style at a NSW cobra club event - was on their web page page - red one, not sure who owned it.
Not sure Id want the leaf springs though, so would do a 427 style chassis with the 289 body.
