Some square tubing for supports, 3/16" plate steel for bench top and a MIG welder. Maybe a plasma cutter too....
Then you can make just what you want! 
I have a friend that did just that, but he made the bench top out of 3/4" plywood and covered that with heavy stainless sheet metal fabricated by a commercial kitchen contractor so was seamless and had a back splash and a return on the front. Nice touch but not cheap.
