Would love to come down guys but I already have 8 race meetings this year to prepare for a support category race at next years Bathurst 12 hour..... On a very limited budget.... Not even sure if I will make the Nationals this year.

Guy's,

Entries are rolling in, dont forget to book your accommodation at

the Quality Hotel Wangaaratta Gateway (03 5721 8399) there are rooms

booked for the Cobra Community so mention the event for your discount.

We need a big turn out to guarantee a future event, so lodge your entry

sooner rather that leave it to the last minute, it makes it easier for the

organisers.

A new surface wont help me!
With the crappy pieces of meat I have my rims wrapped in, I'll be happy with a mid field performance this year.

I am trying to get a few niggles sorted on my car before I lock in.

The major one relates to getting my front end capable of being properly aligned.

Have zero camber at present on the driver's front side.

Marty is currently modifying the attachment arms to mount up Summit supplier adjustable top arms.

Car is getting it's new exhaust right now so that should also eliminate the striking I'm getting on the car as it squats at speed through compression and whilst traversing higher profiles e.g. speed humps.

I also have a few things to do, my rear brake-circuit master cylinder is leaking slightly inside the cabin so that needs replacing (have already sourced the replacement). Also need to adjust the shocks, change my fancy tyre valves to something more practical, and change the trans/engine oils. Some very busy weekends coming up but surely hoping to have it all done in time!

Sing out if you need a hand. I changed my front MC back from 7/8 to 3/4 and it was a hard job getting to the nut/bolts holding the MC - The rear MC is even harder.

Hopefully the missus is good at holding a spanner?

cheers

thanks for the offer!

Yes the Mrs will help as it makes it easier but I can actually undo those bolts on my own. 3/8" extensions on the inside of the car on the cap screw and reach inside the side vent hole with the 13mm spanner.

albanycobra 02-25-2016 02:11 AM

Sorry this may be out of place I know and in this day an age of political correctness I should be ashamed.......but there is nothing better than getting your Missus bent over your car holding a spanner or pumping your brakes.....
