Tremek reverse switch

[SVO 050]

Can anyone tell me what the thread is on the 2 round terminals of the reverse light switch on a Tremek 5 speed. I tried 3/16 unf nuts and even 4mm and 5mm but no joy.

It's not really threaded, it's just kind of "ribbed." Forte Forte's Home Page sells a plug that will fit it or you can fab one up from electrical plug stuff you'll find at any auto parts store.

It would of been kind of funny to have been called over to help SVO 050 and have him say to you "I just can't figure out these darn threads and I've tried every nut and fastener I own." Then you could tell him why... and buy him a pair of spectacles.

Yes it is meant to be a plug in switch but some one had cut the plastic male body off the switch and used 2 female bullets to connect it, these keep falling off so I will source a new switch and correct plug to suit.
I do wear glasses, Ha Ha, and laying alongside the car, partly jacked up to access the switch, the 2 exposed posts looked threaded but they are actually serrations along the length of the posts.
Ah well, I've learnt something and you guys have had a laugh at my expense.
