hello everyone.
i am currently on holidays in melbourne so i wont be able to check those prices and part numbers for you till i return to work.
you say you are looking for a ecu , and ask about hsv unit, all the ecu's are the same, the differences are in the memcal regarding hsv options.
i will check what i can get for you when i return to work.
is your vehicle going to be auto or manual?

answer for sloth
Hello Sloth, how are ya?
I have got those prices for you .
To fit the holden ecu to your motor it is part # 09354896 $1058.20 aud
Unfortunately to use the holden ecu you will need to run the complete holden system including a PIM= Power Interface Module and also the BCM= Body Control Module
I also spoke to the guys at TAS= Technical Assistance and they say the holden ECU will not work on its own, they sugested using a non genuine aftermarket unit, as it is self supporting and doesnt require the other systems to work.
Hope that is some help in your attemt to get your car running.
I realise it is probably not the answer you where after

Hello again Sloth, further to your enquires regarding an engine harness and ecu i found this in a magazine https://www.americanautos.com.au/secure.html
it says that you require 98-99 camaro/firebird ecu, maybe some of our American friends can help with a price to that and possably send one over in a bubble wrap post pack. The part number you need for the wire harness is 60506. Or if you want longer wires so you can hide the ecu use part#30607.
This is a link to the company that makes the harness, there are no prices here but if you email them i am sure they could give you a USD cost and maybe our American friends will help and send one over if it is cheaper than the Aussie supplier? http://www.painlessperformance.com/harness4.htm
Good luck , hope i helped
