Mild(ish) and rainy right now, and no snow forecast for a while. Enjoy your stay, and if you happen to decide to run that Elise down the M1 to Leicester, let me know. It's not actually that far. E-mail from here works fine. Pick a dry day.
I like Elises - they shrink in the Cobra rear-view mirror in a most satisfactory manner!!
(edit: - in a straight line, that is)

BTW - the light weight/low BHP formula is not a 100% UK thing - look at TVR's. More akin to the concept of a Cobra (medium/light weight, rwd, and tons of HP) than you might think.

TVR's used to be my favourite car.

We had Horseless Carriages at Harrogate who always had a good selection to choose from. Lightweight with brute force (what a combination!).

You do see the odd one here, but not sure on after sales service for parts etc.

Griffiths go for $100,000 plus - pretty sure they as cheap if not cheaper in the UK (one of the only things that is)

The older ones do have an uncanny likeness to a cobra (with hard top).

Are they still going strong? (Blackpool is where they are made is it not?)

Its just nice here at the moment.

24 degress ( 80 F ). Just cruising up to Melbourne shortly after I have breakfast in the sun at the local deli.

May lay around later by the pool and soak up some rays.

I have a reputation for taking the Cobra out and getting rained on.

Perhaps this has changed. Now getting burnt.

Cheers

Bernie
