Default Got the nod

Today is a happy day for me in the NT.

I recieved my paper work regarding construction of an Individually Constructed Vehicle (ICV) today and all was approved includeing the 2000 year model engine that I advised I would be fitting (quoted engine number too).

So I am happy that the panic I felt a couple of weeks ago after reading pneal's vin problems that I may not have the same hassles.

I also quoted the fitment of dual brake master cylinders without booster and all is ok with that too.

The vehicle needs to be inspected at 3 stages of construction being, A rolling chassis, Body attached to chassis & Completed vehicle.

I also have to provide an Engineers assesment certificate upon completion certifying that each stage has been carried out correctly.

Then once that is all done I take the vehicle to the MVR shed for final inspection.

I was so happy this afternoon when I finally got the letter and found all was ok to build, (I have been sweating on this).

Congratulations. Glad all went well.Four more days for me and I will know if I pass engineering. My vehicle now at Classic Revival for wiring and exhaust. As long as there are no fuel/starting problems I should be ready for engineering Saturday PM or Sunday AM.

Regards,

Phil

Thumbs up

Boxhead

Well done mate. You are now well on your way. The three stage engineering inspection sounds straight forward.

Apart from the cost.

Have fun

Bernie

That's excellent news David!

I've been making some similar enquiries down here and I think we are OK till the end of the year. I better get cracking and get mine finished.

Cheers
