I may have not been around as an "oldie", but I certainly owned a Cooper S and a 1275GT in the late 70's.

Both used more oil than petrol, but wohhhhh loose your oponent by dropping a gear round a corner and loose him in a haze of smoke!!!

Best cars I've ever owned. Value for money fun.

Excellent.

Driving a mini - drive hard into a corner and forget your brake.... just drive harder - works!!
