The wing is an option that most people usually take up but this one was ordered without one. I have to say I've never been keen on the wing, it makes the rear end a bit busy looking so this suits me.

The AU3 Pursuit 250s were built by Ford as part of the XR8 family unlike the TE50 and TS50 which were built under the Tickford banner. Concequently they all had XR8 badging. I'm not sure why they did this but the BA Pursuit is now built under the FPV banner along with the GT, GT-P and Typhoon.

The AU2 Pursuit was just a standard XR8 with a body kit and different wheels. I believe this was a dealer option. The AU3 Pursuit 250 was factory built and was a lot different to the regular XR8 ute.

They run a lot of the runnng gear from the Tickford TS50. including the engine and trans, Premium brakes, lowered suspension etc. They were also available in the colours the regular XR's weren't available in. The Blueprint paint on mine was a Pursuit or Tickford only colour till it was later released on the BA. The Pursuit 250 is also fairly rare with only 250 built. I guess some people may have removed their XR8 badging.

Cheers
