In process of having front and rear sway bars fitted to my car this week. Bars are priginally from a Toyota Hilux. I will hopefully be able to update on how the car feels next week, in comparison to driving without them for the past 3 years. Suspension is Jag front & rear.
regards
Charlieh

RODA. JESS.

Spoke to pedders today. They dont have a pattern or part no for my front bar but they are happy to make new ones if I take my one off and they use as a template.I have no problems with taking the bar off if you or any others interested.

Price is $275 + $20 delivery. Price will be lower if order number large enough.

Contact is Michael at Pedders Hornsby on 94776310

Regards,

Phil

Now that's a great offer for CR owners.

Phil, will different engines affect clearance of sway bar. eg different sumps. Are all LS1 engines mounted in the same location?

Phil,

Thanks for chasing up Pedders.

I will give them a ring and find out what they need and when.

There is no hurry for the sway bar so when I get the info from Pedders I will let you know and you can do it when ever it suites you.

I think its fantasic that you prepared to do this. That whats fantastic about this forum everybody is so happy to help out when ever they can.

Thanks again

Rod

Craig,

If its an LS1 in a CR then the motor position is predetermined. The only thing you have to be careful with is the position of the radiator hose connections as they are close to the sway bar.

Hope the GT40 build is going well.

RODA, No problem as long as its not the weekend before the Nationals

Phil
