Hi Phil,

Include me in with the bulk sway bar purchase. Sounds as if with all the knowledge here about bump steer and wheel alignments, I may just have to get the numbers from you guys, and along with a big hammer, the problem is sorted ...

Hi Phil
spoke to michael at pedders today regarding the swaybar thanks again for organising this saves a lot of time and stuffing about
the local tire shop has been good enough to let me use their wheel aligner next week for a few hrs so can't wait to take it for a drive although with the increased ride heights and acute driveshaft angles i wont be expecting to much as long as it steers straight and feels confident enough to pass engineering i'l be happy for the time being
i was getting a bit concerned with the chassis being different from left to right being built on a jig i thought it would be fairly square
as yet phil i havent bothered to drop the steering rack im just trying to do what is required to get reg then i'll be pulling it apart to paint it and make some mods so il be tackling it then
regarding rear bump steer i think the rear link may need to be dropped as is done with the steering rack
there is a way to check this it will take some time to do but the equipment needed is minimal 3 dial gauges a flat surface to mount on the wheel with hot glue comes of easy a big round mirror or glass is good a solid base to mount the dial gauges on a jack to cycle the suspension up and down with this you can check exactly how much toe and camber change there is same again will be doing this once its registered
cheers
jess

Spoke to Micheal from Pedders again he is now doing a run of 6 bars, they will all be 22mm thick. He is going to keep one for a pattern, so if anyone else requires one he will be able to make one.
The price is now $220.00 plus delivery, not bad when you consider, Ian at Classic Revival wants $360.00 plus G.S.T for a bar that doesn't even fit.

Phil,
Thanks for droping the bar off. Micheal hopes to make them this week.
I suggested that he should look after you for your rear bar as may well end up with the same number of orders for rear bars.

Thanks again Phil for all your work.

Rod Allen

Michael at Pedders has two confirmed orders for the front bars. He really needs the other orders confirmed so he can get the special price.
Please ring him on (02) 94776310 and place your order. He dosent need payment at this stage just a committment.

Regards,

Phil

Just rang Michael and confirmed. Sorry Phil, I thought it was a confirmed order and he would let you know when ready. Ooops.
