There a whispers of 'two' using oil in Vic. Probably a bit early to speculate the LS2 is heading down the same path as the minority of early LS1's.

The reason could be totally unrelated to the previous issues with the LS1. Probable a case of the panic button being hit because it is a LS motor.

We dont seem to hear about the subarus, toyotas, and fords using oil.

Les,

The LS2 motor can now be picked up new for $7K...not that you'd be interested in one of those recyled aluminium can thingies....there is also one available dismantled for $4K...got my eye on that one.

Enjoy the weekend.

Regards,

Phil

Yeah..they are getting cheaper by the month.

Must be all the empty cans discarded by the Queenslanders after the State of Origin match.

By the time ya buy a starter, alternator, air flow thingy, harness and puter, flywheel etc., then ya wont have much change from $10,000 anyways.

Think I'll drink more cans.
