I may be a tradesman BUT I have found that the bulk of sales people want to talk about your build, and will then remember you and give a better deal since you are a repeat customer.

Maybe it is a small town thing I'm not sure, but any rev head salesman love a Cobra even with a chevy in it.

Good on you GAV... its really sad when people think that you're rich because your building / own a Cobra. I live in Newcastle NSW and I have found out that everyone thinks your loaded and like to charge you accordingly.
Another addendum to this situation......I just "abandoned" my 28 year old Datsun 200B because I can't get parts anymore. I went stupid and bought a 350Z to replace it..(not rich, just single and broke...a true car "enthusiast")you wouldn't believe the price rise in bits when I turn up in this car
