Hey Mike I've just realised I'm disappointed - what no video to go with the drive.

Would have thought you'd have a head cam, bonnet cam, boot cam and suspension cam to replay all the details to us all.

Maybe next time?

Well at least get an innocent by-stander to hold the cam down the road whilst your foot accidently slips off the clutch!

Cheers

Thanks everyone for the comments,

It certainly got my heart racing. I was messing round with the seats tonight and just sitting in it got my pulse going.

Unfortunately over the next few monts I've got a lot of interstate work on so that's going to limit my Cobra time. I'll be in Newcastle for the rest of this week so I'll miss the club meeting.

Steve, I emailed you the lighting dagram the other day to your home email address. Did you get it?

The noise limit over here is 90dB so I've got a bit of head room with the under body system. I think it did 83dB at 3000RPM. I've got a set of headers and side pipes that will go on for "track events only"

I reckon if you put the noise meter at the front of the car it would probably read louder. The induction noise is magnificent, probably something to do with my Elephant Knob intake system.

Definitely come on down to the Shelby fest Flukeyluke. It'll be a great oportunity to check out a good variety of cars and talk to their owners. Plenty of ideas and inspiration there.

Cheers

No video this time. If I did I'd have to over dub it with some racing V8 sounds as the exhaust is embaressingly quiet. I'll get Lily to hold the camera for me next week end.

Cheers

Good stuff Mike.

I have a standard airbox if you need to borrow it.

I will definately be there, either the Saturday or Sunday. I will be the one in the bright blue Falcon.

Cheers,

Luke

Nice work Mike! Congrats! Great to see you now have a car rather than an oversized billy cart!
