Random!
I was hoping for a few more "out there" cars.
Ultima - Yes, Aerial Atom - definitely
Mike - how do you get a Daytona (other than building for $75k)?

Sorry, yes I'm thinking in terms of how much it would cost me to build one.
Warwicks kit is about $20K and I reckon for another $55K you could spec it out very nicely.
Cheers

Yes Stiffy. Daytona definitely, but a few dollars more than $75K!
LS7 Daytona sounds like the right mix.

Then you'd have to start dressing like Fonzie and learn to jive/rock & roll.
Come to think of it... what's so bad about that?.

Robert Logan from RFGT40 fame had the answer to the Ariel atom. Similiar power and set up like a scale F1 car...
Hell it could go I lost it in his back yard and just missed the pool stopping at his lounge doors...
Yes good fun under 75k and plenty of change

A supercharged Porsche 928 S4 GTS would do the biz I recokon. in Black. But I prefer open top touring anyday.

I really like the retro look cars from the art deco era...
Here's a photo of my '37 convert and the '28 roadster.
The roadster...
and the '37 Ford...

I'm not overly rich but after owning my last car for 27 years from new. (1979 Datsun 200B SX ) I decided I needed a new car...so I bought a nissan 350Z Track. I'm like a kid in a toy shop. Big smiles each time I drive it. I am limited severely by the fact that I have only 3 points out of 12 on my licence. I leave home at 5:00 am to start at 6:30. The cops are on roster change at about that time so the 25 minute drive takes 15 It's not quite as exciting as the 70's technology at that speed but it's still fun. when the points grow back I can see some scary drives happening. BUT !! I really love the bragging rights when "non auto enthusiasts" ask why I drive such a nice car to work and not a cheap bomb and I say the Zed is my grocery getter and I've got something much better in the shed at home. . . the smile gets bigger !

Keep it in the family.
If I could afford it, I would get a XY GT HO.
They would be the toughest looking production car ever.

Yes I agree..but can you take three good looking females for a cruise in the BDR..
Guess I should say I go for the ride with them. Life in Anne's hands when she's behind the wheel...

G'day fellas,
How about a Noble or Corvette Z06? The Noble would break the 75K limit a bit but the Z06 would be in the neighborhood.

I am fortunate enough to also own a Noble M400. Although this car will certainly break the $75K budget by quite a bit it is absolutely the most phenominal performing car I have ever driven. I track the car frequently. I have not encountered a street legal car that can touch the performance of this car on a road course. I have a number friends that drive Z06s and that would probably be the best track car that fits within the $75K limitation.
