Congratulations, youve got a fantastic car. Im probably not telling you anything new, but not only were the Autocraft cars made with the original tooling as mentioned before, but the owner of Autocraft Brian Ingliss was obsessed with the quality of his cars. Apparently the cars he produced were of an incredible standard.

Regards.

There seems to be some doubt if an original wooden 427 body buck was ever owned by Brian. He definitely had 289 & FIA bucks, but it seems he might never have been able to get an original 427 one. One thing is certain, is that not all the original tooling was still in existance, so a lot of it was remanufactured. Just what I have read/heard. Not that it makes much difference to me either way.

But I'm not taking anything away from the Autokraft's, they are a great car in their own right.

If you are after a premium aluminium Cobra replica that is refined and easy to live with, then the Autokraft is a great choice. But it's still a replica/recreation.

If you are after a premium aluminium Cobra replica that is raw and aggressive as the originals were, then something like a Kirkham is a good way to go.

Just my 2 cents worth.
