Another pet hate of mine.
They have forgotten it's public money....our money.
Not to be given to 3rd world countries. Not to be spent getting themselves back into government.
Ever thought what you'd do if you were elected as PM?. What radical laws would you enact?.
Here's mine..... Conscription, ie. Two years military service for all unemployed youth between 18 and 25yo.
If they are studying, or have a job, they'd be exempt. However, no overseas duty for any conscripts until completion of the 2 years training. That's what was wrong during the Vietnam era.....we sent conscripts to Vietnam untrained.
This simple change would reduce welfare dollars, would add reserve strength to our military, and train some conscripts in a trade of some type.
