Sambo, I have no doubts the L76 will prove to be more than a stout performer. 
I also have a cam change planned after rego but I'm real eager to hear about the torque characteristics.
I'm a little different to most of the L76 owners cuz my diff is a 3.31 behind a TR600, 5 speed.
I think most here are running the T56 and diffs lower ( higher numerically) than 3.5X.
