A topic not entirely to do with Cobras

Sorry if this doesn't help you but I assume that Toyota sells their crew cab small pick up in "pre-runner" for down under. I'm using the TRD supercharger on the V6 and it has plenty of oats to pull my open duel-axle trailer with my Boss Mustang. In the following pics you can just barely make out the truck;




Here's a later model;


140,000 miles so far and not one hick-up! I've towed that car north and south east and west and through 2 mountain ranges with no problems at all and it weighs at least 1000 pounds more than a Cobra. That being said I think I'll just stick with it when my BDR gets here.

Just did a little checking, I guess Toyota calls it the Hilux over there.

I know that the title of my thread was "a topic not entirely to do with Cobras", but I can't help but thinking that the reaction to your photo's may get reactions that are not entirely on the topic of tow vehicles!

Thanks for your comments on the Hilux/Tacoma...it's a great dual cab!...Unfortunately, in Australia, they are not legal for the weight I need to tow/haul!

If I had the choice you do in the states, I'd be lining up for a dual cab Toyota Tundra or a GMC 2500!
