Also are RCM the sole agents for Kirkham and so do you have to go via them?

Sorry for all the questions but new to the forum and country! Any help much appreciated.

PS I saw a Cobra in the Hunter Valley on Sunday, anyone's on here? It looked White with Blue Stripes?
Kirkhams are being imported by R.M.C in Perth Western Austrailia, not R.C.M which is a different Company altogether.

Hey rollinggeorge,

You reckon we're humorous. Watching a U.S. show on the tele recently featuring that emortal comedian, George Burns.

George went to the doctors for his check-up on his 90th Birthday. The Dr., said, "George. You should be careful of sex at your age. It could be fatal." George replied, " Doc. If they die, they die."

Same man, 10 years later. His mate says, "Hey George. What's you Doctor say about you smokin those big cigars?" George responds, "My Doctors dead."

Now that's humourous and that's American. Don't put yourself down man. You live in a fabulous Country. God bless America, the land of the free with no R.T.A. ( Roads and Traffic Authority).

Baz - New South Wales - Australia.

Baz,

Nice people, but I'm not certain if they fully understand the election they face.

...Obama . v. McCain

One is a lawyer married to a lawyer, he is supported by a lawyer as a running mate who is married to a lawyer who was the President..

The other is a decorated war hero who is married to a woman who owns a brewery and a major beer distributorship.

Hell how hard is that decision...

So I guess the chances of importing a Kirkham with a Ford Windsor type engine into NSW are slim then. I guess that's why the agents are based in WA!

Thanks for the replies although not what I wanted to hear. Still finding it strange that the same country has different laws depending on what state you're in!

The change I'm refering to is the new mentality........It seems that if everyone cannot have a Cobra.......we should just outlaw them....Tax them...or not allow the fuel for them

Hitler made the peoples car...VW. He rode in limousines, similiar to some of our leaders preaching global warming who also have private jets.

America is the land of the free.....not to be confused with....the land where you are given things for free......

Yes, George Burns, Jackie Gleason, John Wayne, Johnny Cash, Ronald Reagan.........American Icons should not be replaced with the new Commie mentality wave which seems to be gaining popularity.

From what Ive been told RMC in Western Australia are the Australian Agents for the Kirkhams and intend selling the cars complete as turnkeys. If I remember correctly, you can get in and drive away for just over $150,000.

Regards.

Mando

I wish them well. But with the same car available less running gear available in the States at around $45,000 - if I'm adding it up right - it will be a hard road...

My thoughts too Bernie.

Either way, you still have to get through compliance.

The cars will be compliant for Rego the same way Robnells were. There is another guy in WA that has spent the last 3 years getting the CAV GT40 which is made in South Africa compliant with a 302 with 8 throttlebodies. He told me he was about a year away and planned to sell them as turnkey units.

Regards.

Yes there has been a lot of discussion with regard to 'Permit" "Club" and "Special Rego' all options in Victoria that by - pass.

The direct buy of USA products is attractive if these options are taken.
