Well I am back home after my little drive down the road to attend the Nationals.

I too must thank Phil and his great team for putting on a fantastic weekend.

I had not planned on attending the Shelby Fest or the Nationals next year (other commitments) but after having a go on a race track I will be trying my best to attend.

Scott and Matt, I hope there isnt too much argueing over who gets to keep the trophy (my money was on your car guys).

Andrew, thanks for all the pics, due to only being on dial up I have not seen them all, so I am now looking forward to getting back to work on Monday so I can check them out (dont tell my boss).

Thanks again everyone.

Hey Boxhead Matt had his own prize to come home to his new blushing bride.
Talk about doing it in style honeymoon surfing then a week away with the crew racing a cobra.
Its the life for some.
looking forward to next year.
Hope to have the cobra sorted a bit better it was really off the pace this year.

Yes great to catch up with everyone.

I was reluctant to run off on Saturday, but the mid afternoon rain saw us make a decision to head back to Sth. Australia.

Good to see that it did clear up Sunday a little.....

Just thought I would post my thanks to all who made this years Nationals possible. Just fantastic organisation and even in the face of impossible weather conditions the organisers pulled together a great event.

If I had $10 for every time Phil checked if everything was ok and if we needed anything, I would be a rich man. Thanks Phil for your efforts.

The racing was fantastic and most guys posted personal bests. Also glad everyone got home safely.

It was great to catch up with some old friends and also meet many new people. I'm already looking forward to next year.

I too have a load of photos I would like to post of the R&G. so when Craig starts the threat here for R&G I will post them here and over on the R&G forum.
Can somebody tell me how in the world do you post multiple photos in one post like on this thread?
I want to do it that way as it makes it easier to view.

Hersh, just insert image links on separate lines. eg, hit carriage return between each link.

Haha fair play I guess. I'm a web developer and in various programming languages we use "CRLF" which stands for "carriage return line feed". That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!

I just learnt something new.
I did not want to look like a dumb ass and ask what you meant by "carriage return"

Have a look at your "Enter" key... that down-left arrow symbolises down for line feed and left for carriage return, just like the old typewriter heads used to do. Nothing quite like nostalgia is there?

Back in them olden days that's where you dropped your horse and buggy off when you finished renting it.
