Default Meeting place for drive from Melbourne?

Is there a place where cars heading from Melbourne are meeting and heading up in a group?
I hope I can keep up I will only be in a little Yaris or something similar.
Just thought it would be good to have surround sound side pipes in my ears.

Yeah, I am wanting to get there early enough to watch some of the practice then do some of the tourist type things in the arvo, I have to head back to Melbourne on Saturday around noon for a wedding, then back up on Sunday morning.
