** Shelbyfest 2009 **

After much deliberation, I will not be able to make Shelby Fest. It's without doubt an annual highlight.

I have signed up for the Clipsal Rally again and can't face the overnight 1200 Km drive to make Winton and join in the fun, like I did last year. Guess I'm getting old.

Good luck to all, and have some beer and pizza for me on Friday night. I will be spending Friday at the Clipsal 500 and touring the Great Ocean road back to Melbourne with a mate from China, who is navigating for me on the rally.

Is there a "staging post" or a meeting point where the Vics will be driving to Winton on Friday morning?

Boxxy,

I think some people are going to practice on the Friday so will be leaving early AM, most will be driving up in the afternoon in time for the happy hour at the pub (that would be me)

Be very careful calling Boxhead "Boxxy". I mistakenly referred to him as "Boxy' in Thread 933768 on 4.12.08 Ref. '6' IP:150.101.58.154 and copped this in return:-

"Hey Baz. - I assume you are talking to me. If so - my name is Boxhead - or David."

Then again I didn't include the second x in Boxxy so you might get away with it without getting your knuckles smacked.

You haven't upset me, but you have a really short memory. I think you are the one that got upset. Check out your comments on the Thread of the 4.12.08. Talk about thin skinned.
