I used the motor from my Commodore donor car and built a slider mechanism to convert the rotary action to push-pull. The throw is adjustable by 2 bolts so that I can adjust to get the correct wiping angle.
I did this because:
1. Cheapo - part of the donor car.
2. Will always be cheap and easy to get replacement motor.
3. Plugged straight into the donor harness giving full functionality (variable speed etc).
