That is 15 mins from here at Buderim. In the background you can see his two Cobras.

Merv,

I've booked a "club visit" to Bowdens on December 13th....
If the 40 hasn't sold by then we get to have another gander at it.

Cheers,
Warren.

Question...You're selling the Daytona to build 'another'! GT40. Is the GT40 more recognisable than the Daytona. ie do you get more "what isits" with the Daytona and everyone just knows what a GT40 is ? Is that the reason ?
No it's not a recognition thing as i don't like the attention they bring. I do like the car.
Peter Brock did a lot for the Daytona recognition wise. I get "Is that the same as Brockies car Mate"

Hi Dave,

I noticed that a there was a record sale for an American Car set at the recent Mecum Monterey auction - US$7.25M for CSX 2601.

See attached - http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_de...D=CA0809-82174

Looks a lot like yours!

Kind regards....Paul
I was at Pebble Beach CA a few weeks ago, i believe the record is now just under US$7.7M http://editorial.autos.msn.com/slide...tid=1086175#11
