Default Progress pics.

Water, oils and fluids are in, so its of to have the loaner exhaust fitted and a wheel alignment then to the tuner to start the car. Cant wait to hear what it sounds like.

Regards.

Very clean. Take them again after 5000 miles.

I wouldn't put the screw down rubber feet around the engine compartment to hold the hood. In time the screws will tear-up the hood. May I recommend D or half round rubber molding instead.

Just my $0.02 worth.

Beautiful engine set up. Would like to get your impressions of the cross flow Morrison set up vs stacked EFI. Did you pick the Morrison because of hood clearance? What engine management are you running?

Looks the business Mando! Did you fabricate those M-shaped clamps holding down your pos/neg battery cables or buy them? I was going to use large P-clips but they look much neater.

trularin, your the 2nd person to tell me not to use the individual rubbers. My painter didnt like the idea of the bonnet putting pressure onto the body around the rubbers. What do you mean by "tear up the hood" in your post?

SF SN888KE,I picked Morrison because I didnt know any better. Since then I've found that there's not much around of the same quality, it really is outstanding. I'm running Autronic SM4 engine management.

Sambo, the M-clamps came from Don at Snakebite. If he doesn't have any you could try Stainless Bitz also in Queensland.

Regards.

Amazing Mando. I just finished a car for engineering and registration and I don't even recognise half of the things you have on there! I am thinking I missed some things?

Mando, Looks fantastic.

You should be very proud of your work and patience.

In your first photo, was that an inline fan for cooling the footwells?

Mando, the hood will shimmy and shake. As it does the hood will force the rubber down until it hits those screws. And as it shimmys and shakes some more, the screw head will eat into the glass.

You are a perfectionist, it shows. This will not happen for a long time if you never start and drive the car ( trailer queen ), but if you drive this for a while, it will go fairly quick.

I would pull the rubber bumpers and put "D" type molding down with 3M tape.
