Okay, its been "MANY" years since I've taken any math in school and I admit I've forgot more than I now know, sooooooooooooooo, someone help me out here and tell me "How do I figure my Windshield Angle?????

I have the three measurements shown above, which are 8.75 for bottom leg, 12.25 for back straight leg, and 15.25 for the angle that would be the windshield.

Sin(x) = 8.75/15.25 or Sin(x) = .57377 or 35deg
Try to shoot for the bottom to be almost the same as the back straight. (45 deg).

here this will be easier to understand

sin (Deg)= opposite side/ hypotenuse
cos(deg)= adjacent side/ hypotenuse
tan(deg)= opposite/adjacent sides


deg=degrees
opposite side= the length of the side opposite the angle your finding
adjacent side= " " " " " adjacent to the angle your finding
hypotenuse= the length of the side opposite the right angle

so plug in the sides to the formula get the answer to the division and then hit the sin^-1 key or the cos^-1 key etc..... to get the angle

or post the lengths and i'll tell you what angle you have
