I don't think you need that measurement since your side brace holes are already cut and your forward position is determined by the rake of your windshield.

By the way drilling your holes thru the side post will take some time since they are made of brass.

Thats my problem, I have a body with no holes or markings where the holes are supposed to be. If I knew how far forward the lower edge of the frame is supposed to be and the measure from the top to the rear, I will have the rake? I need the flippin measurements to correctly place the bottom of the windshield........once I have that the rest is not rocket science. Drilling the holes in the side support is the least of my worries, as long as I have them positioned correctly.

The inner edge of the windshield on mine is 6 5/8 inches frm the edge measured at the middle of the windshield.
