Kick Off the New Season: East Coast Ride
Too much damn snow. I'm thinking of the near future. Just started my BDR snake with ease. I'm getting the itch to go riding, but its just too soon.
However, Just checking interest in a cobra kick off ride. Involving anyone in my area of CT, MA, NY, ETC.I'm sure Jay and Bryan at Vintage would be interested. We would have at least two month to get things squared away such as rally points, course layout, meeting points, breakfast and or lunch and dinner bring the wives or girl friends, a son or daughter. I think it would be fun to do. I just enjoy driving these things, so if anyone loves driving their cobra's as much as I do maybe we can all come up with a nice kick off event. Let me know of any interest. Thanks. |
Count me in. :D

We have some time to plan, Maybe a date at the end of april perhaps
|
It's been too long... why not tie it in to the parade lap offering at Limerock?

Got cabin fever bad like you. I've been sneaking runs out to the Hamptons, when there's no salt on the roads. That soft top sure is ugly, though; and sounds/feels like it will fly off any minute. People look at me like I'm nuts; but that's OK, because I am.
I'll go. |
Better yet, what about a dyno day in April? Also looks like a grand opening event might be evident around that time %/
|
Sounds good, We got some time. When is the limerock event? I was also thinking of taking a day trip to RI at the Mansions. Something different.

Lots of sand in my area still. I Hope to be planning a kick off event some time in april or so. RI Mansions, state wide ride, ride to central location for a picnic, Gilette Castle, etc. Something different to kick off the season and get the oil mixing good.
Hope some of you cobra guys in the area can make it I think it can be a fun time. No matter what car you have. Bring a passanger, friend, spouse, girl friend, etc. Gary |
lloyds1 ,
How are you. How far would you like to see a kick off ride. I'm gonna try to plan out a course or destination so to speak soon. |

I'm looking forward to invites this year ;) We are already slammed with orders, I am happily surprised.
|
I'm in Norwalk CT. Any place is fine with me as long as I can get there and back in a single day.....The roads up by Limerock are really nice.

Sounds good, I have a few good ideas now and hope some of you will join in with me to kick off the season or even a maiden voyage or 2.

Stay tuned.

Would love to see someone set up a Run 'n shoot or some sort of high performance weekend (or single day) at one of the local speedways (maybe New Hampshire). Would take a lot of effort, but there's plenty of Cobras and GT40's in the northeast.

Any one know of the limerick event starting in April Accs 345.00 for track time but there is a DB limit on the cars used or u can rent there miatas

On the chest of a barmaid at Yale were tattooed the prices of ale, and on her behind, for the sake of the blind, was the same information in Braille. |
