Jay it sounds and looks good.
What is the HP gain?
Does this also increase the torque?

We baseline dynoed it at 300 rwhp. Will see what it makes now. Current pulley is making 4 psi. We have another pulley to try 6 psi. Key is to keep it safe and driveable. This setup on a 302 (short deck) is with no hood modifications.

413 RWHP without the air cleaner. We need to find a better air intake system. Torque is a straight line and 381 peak.
Also have a fuel supply issue to sort out.

That carb hat is too low profile for the carb with a choke. We determined a 9" extreme filter will clear if we trim the hood opening under the the scoop. Imagine a turkey pan setup without the turkey pan

If you re looking for more power
Cashburn Jay If you are looking for more power with getting crazy Look at the Snow water mister system. You can run a 50/50 of water alcohol raise the timing, lower combustion temps and pickup another 40-50 HP and 30-40 FT of torque with only timing and jet change. An A/F meter would be hiden for checking the setup at cruise to not have a lean out. The other thing is blower bang, Don't run the motor at WOT and then shut down the throttle to idle. Does the blower have a small blow up valve? If so then you are all right. Heat is not your friend. Adding a couple of small blowers to the fender ducts will help remove some of it to cool down under the hood. Nice setup Good luck Rick L.

Thanks Rick. We seem good on temps. Of course we are not testing at 95 degrees this time of year. The Snow setup is something we were talking about the other day. I think that would be phase 3 for the customer. The most amazing thing we saw on the dyno was a nearly level torque line from 3800-6000 rpm.

Is that the M-6007-X302 engine?
Ford says this under the info for that motor...
IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION! Power-adders such as superchargers, turbos, or nitrous not recommended. Use of power-adders voids the warranty. See Ford Racing Boss series of crate engines such as M-6007-X302B or M-6007-X302E if you plan power-adder enhancements

Juat asking if that is the engine. I am sure if so the cutomer is aware of the change in waranty.
Just want to know which Ford Racing 306 it is. I normally would not post in he BDR area as I don't belong here, but it is the only way to ask this question. Perhaps Ford is being a little cautious with the 306 if it can handle a supercharger.
Honest Jay, no agenda.

Customer is aware. This kit is designed for a stock bottom, it's up to you how you pulley it. This was an add on when the customer said "please sir, may I have some more.". The car already had 2k miles or so.
Since we are the installer we assume the liability.
Have nothing against you posting here at all. Did not take it that way. The Ford warranty is only as good as the installer as I am sure you know, and that motor is an incredible value when you see some of the parts used inside.
We will likely pull it back a little in the end to keep it balanced. You would not believe the driving experience before and after...

Jay,
Quite agree. We are delivering a roadster model to Boston next week with that engine which is why I asked. The car is an anniversary gift to his wife who "has always wanted one" and I doubt she will want/need more scoot. Just wanted to know if that was the engine and how it held up.
