Whats the deal with that dash? Are those a/c ports or offset guages???
Jay-why didn't I get an interior shot!????:D |
#1134 is not only the wallpaper (and screen-saver) on my laptop, but my phone as well. You must have more patience than I did to order from scratch! Mine was in process when I purchased it and once it reached North Haven, CT I had to visit it Just about every Saturday to record the progress (just missed one, an advantage of being only an hour away). My wife told Jay to charge extra if I helped, but Jay and Brian were very gracious and put up with me through the build (Jay will think twice about selling to another in state customer!).
Nice dash arrangement! Very unique. Will have to watch to see the final product. You definitely will not be disappointed with the work Jay and Brian do! Julian |

The long trip accross the pond!!! Cool dash-I didn't even know that option existed...for a minute I thought those were the air-conditioning vents to which I thought "my wife would kill me for pointing both of them at myself"!
|
Im with you on the wife thing. AC is the one thing she would not let me build it without. Gets hot in Arkansas!!!
|
She's a beaut, can't wait till she get's here to see her in person. And yes guys , he has been walking on clouds since seeing the pix.

I keep checking this thread to see your progress. Please let us know what that motor is putting out?
|
Hammer, Will do. Unfortunately the car is on a long slowwwww boat ride right now. So it will be 4-5 weeks till more pics or info. I'm sure the guys at Vintage will keep us posted on the engine as it may be the first one of its kind going in a Cobra.
|
Did they do away with hood rivets on the newest cars, or was it requested to not have them? And they nailed it on that hardtop!

The engine has been on order for a couple months but keeps getting pushed back by Ford Racing. Pretty confident it will be first XS in a Cobra. |
