Thanks for the words. What did you think the first time you drove your new Cobra? Kinda hard to image actually being behind the wheel. I have driven lots of different kinds of cars but never a Cobra.

I had never driven one till I had my test drive. Wow.
All the senses are at work. Most importantly that little voice in the back of your head "hey, this thing can kill you".

ok i did not know or i missed it . that being said , are there any difference between the 2 cars? i have talked to a few people and some have said that different cars have different placement for steering wheel which makes it easier to get in and out of the car . i am trying to find people to let me sit in there cars to see which one fits me better. i am 6' 2" 280 lbs . i have not talked with any of the builders yet because i am sure they just want that sale .

Backdraft is suppose to be a better fit for larger guys. A little more interior room. I think the frame is about 2 inches longer than other replicas.

Roxx - I'm about identical in build and Backdraft was the best fit for me. Where are you located - that may help narrow down if someone is close by to you. Definitely do your homework as to the differences between different makes. Once you see many of them in person, you'll realize the benefits of one over the other in quality, features, price, etc.
Once you've educated yourself a little more, talk to Jay @ Vintage - he goes above and beyond before the sale (as well as after). Knowing some of the basic differences before talking to a dealer (or owner) will definitely make that conversation and decision easier.

Kirk,
I'm not far from you either and you're free to check out my Backdraft as well. Let me know when you want to see it and I can meet you right by either the Fort Washington TP or Willow Grove TP exits (so long as rain is not in the forecast, I can meet up whenever).
Steve

I think the bdr is 2" wider, not longer. Thus it fits heavier guys better.

My brother is 6'5 at 225, not fat asses like you guys, lol. He fit in both my bdr and SPF with zero issues except his shoes size. The pedal box is small for big shoes. Try both as everyone is built different. Oh yea I am 10' at 300 if anyone wants to brawl.

Man you really know how to keep a guy in suspense !!!!!! Glad the car is there. Can't wait to start seeing the build!!! One good thing about having a Cobra on order is it makes your summer go by A LOT slower!!!
