I sold the other car, I was going to just switch out the motor originally but with the additional horsepower we felt best doing solid mounts all around along with a few other things, which is a lot of work so we decided to just sell the other car (which sold in 1 day BTW) and build this one with everything we needed from the start.
I had an all alum 427 from Ford Racing-going with a 445CI NA motor, I thought hard about going the modern route but decided to stick with old school. Jay had a Coyote set up at the AC show...they did a super sweet job on it and its hard to argue with the turn key drivability of the modern set ups. I recall him ribbing me about how the hood hardware was less of a concern to the owners of the newer style engines  because they seldom had to open it...
