Removing play in clutch pedal?

+1 on what PLDRIVE said.

You should be able to turn it without pushing it down. Counter clockwise, not trying to be a wise guy but sometimes when you are standing on your head its easy to forget which way to turn.

I know exactly what you mean its like upside down and backwards when your arm is twisted in there but I was going counter clockwise and turning hard but it would not release so I thought it might be a push down and turn deal.
