Love the exterior. Don't care for the interior or color-matched engine bay. To put that in context, nobody likes my car except me.

Default Roush

Its all down to preference, I personally don't mind the orange But not everywhere its over the top, the engine doesnt look like an engine - horrible modern touch. To be fair if you like hot rodding etc then thats fine for you...

When Shelby and AC cars went into production they had it right in their day with looks etc. All the different bodies have variations on the original. Backdraft look good and are probably a very good product, although I prefer the more bulbous look with the side and rear valances.

Will through in my opinion for what its worth. The color is striking and want appeal to a lot of Cobra buyers. The millage is more than I would want but will not hurt it except for the price. The Goodyear tires are useless and they do not make them any more. Trust me I had a set and trashed them due to shacking the whole car. I think the price others are telling you of aprox. $35,000.00 would be a much better price for the car. Drive the car and have the engine checked out.

According to the Ebay ad, about a half dozen people bid on the car with the highest bid of $40,699 being under the seller's reserve. It appears the second most interested buyer does not think its worth $41,000 today.

Damn Nigerian bidders!

As a totally off topic aside - I noticed a kit car that shall remain nameless for sale a few weeks ago with a buy it now price. It reached near the BIN, but it didn't reach reserve. When I checked the bid history, it was apparent that someone had bid one dollar under the reserve at the beginning of the auction. I strongly suspect the seller placed the high bid at the beginning to assure the car would not sell for less than the BIN price. It also appears that he used the auction to contact unsuccessful bidders to deal with them directly and bypass Ebay's fees. Ebay was being used as a marketing tool rather than a marketplace.

It happens all the time. That's why our listings are simply Fixed Price. The whole highest bidder game is usually just that. The fees are not high enough to deter us, though offline deals take place that often include other options etc.

I'm willing to bet who had the listing you refer to, but I'll leave it alone.

.... This is dead on ,have 402 with this issue at 6k miles ,Know i am late too the party but my.02 for info only
