Cobra Make, Engine: Backdraft

I have a new Backdraft with 18" Falkins. The manual indicates a front
PSI of 28,with the rears being 29. A friend with an older car went for a ride
with me today and drove it for a bit. He though the recommended settings
were too high and suggested I lower it 3lbs all around. The car has a Coyote
motor. Would you stick to the suggested settings or lower them for a smoother
ride? Thanks.
