Well, congrats on finding the solution to your problem. I admire the openness that you show in sharing what might be an embarrassing aspect in posting it. I had the same ignorance about the hi/low beam switch location on my car as the "owner's manual" does not provide such information. I doubt that there is anything available (like a shop manual) for the BDR RT3. If there is, I would be in line with you to buy a copy.
