Home stretch! Dyno tuning done. At my request, VMS is going to put a few hundred miles on Mayhem to shake out any gremlins. A few final touches to finish up then I'll be able to get my hands on this beast. Until then, here are a few pictures. While biased, I think it looks killer

Glad it's not just me - sooo sick. According to VMS, the dyno video of the race gas / race tune / small pulley set up is something to behold. Can't wait to see it.

Jay took the car out yesterday and reported back with positive expletives and a rhetorical question about how in the world is he going to do a hard 4th gear pull without problems with the po-po...hahahaha

Awesome ride, be safe with that BEAST. Thanks for posting the pics, i was missing my car and havent seen it for awhile, glad to see its safe at Vintage with all the other badass Cobras. My Cobra has half the horsepower at the wheels as yours and it is fun as hell to drive it, i am already planning upgrades on my Vette since it seems slow and boring now LMAO. Post some vids when u drag it, PLEASE!!

I absolutely will continue sharing the adventure post-delivery, including 1/4, 1/2 and roll racing.

Isn't it the damnedest thing, one car isn't fast enough, mod mod mod; then the other car isn't fast enough, mod mod mod; rinse and repeat.
I'm waiting for my vette to come back from having work done - go figure. It'll be like getting two new cars in a months time

What's going on with your Cobra to be at VMS?

The front left brake was locking up when i would get on them hard at high speed which was alittle scary so he is putting a new brake booster in. Jay is also doing some minor tweeks. Once you get your car you will have to shake it out also and go through the same processs. These cars are one offs and getting them right takes a good amount of miles and time. Car is awesome though and cant wait to get it back.

Got it and I agree. I'm having Jay put more than the normal miles on it for that very reason. But, I know there may be things that need to be tweaked as I put my own miles on it.

Glad you're still enjoying that great looking car!

Thanks everyone for being patient with and joining me on my adventures with Mayhem. Your replies have me grinning.

Pictures will be dripping in as I get time in the car. Today was the first time I've had a chance to drive Mayhem in a while. Had to do my maiden fill up - I felt like a high schooler who was joy riding dad's car (how do I get the cap off? at what angle do I have to put the nozzle to get it to flow correctly? etc etc ). I'll be heading to a Cars and Cafe tomorrow at Manhattan Motorsports. I'll be sure to take loads of pictures to share with you all.
